Vastnaut Limited Commercial Warranty

Effective date: 4th/Sep/2026

This Limited Commercial Warranty applies to Vastnaut branded hardware products purchased directly via Vastnaut official website (Vastnaut.com). To receive warranty service, you will be required to provide valid proof of purchase or verified product registration information.

Products purchased through authorised distributors or dealer may be covered under the their local warranty terms. Please contact your point of purchase first for warranty related enquiries for those units. Vastnaut commercial warranty does not automatically govern third-party-resold products.

Coverage

Vastnaut provides a limited commercial warranty covering manufacture defects in materials and workmanship under intended normal use of the product. This warranty doesn’t cover damage arising from ordinary wear&tear, cosmetic deterioration or consumable-part ageing, unless such condition is caused by a manufacturing defect.

Within the applicable warranty coverage period, Vastnaut may, at its sole discretion, perform free of charge repair or replacement of the whole product or defective component parts to resolve a warranty validated fault. Replaced parts or products carry the remainder of the original warranty term.

Note: This commercial warranty is additional to statutory legal guarantees granted by consumer protection legislation in your country or region. Statutory consumer law rights cannot be excluded or limited by this commercial warranty.

Warranty Term

Base Commercial Warranty

  1. For most countries and regions outside the European Economic Area, Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom: the commercial limited warranty period is 12 months.
  2. For customers located within the European Economic Area, Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom: you are entitled to a minimum 2 year statutory legal guarantee under applicable local consumer protection laws, which applies regardless of Vastnaut commercial warranty terms.

The commercial warranty period commences from the earlier of product first activation or product delivery to the end consumer; provided that the warranty start date shall not commence earlier than the actual product delivery date where prohibited by local mandatory law.

Extended Protection Plan

You may purchase an optional Extended Protection Plan within 30 calendar days of your original product purchase date. This plan extends your applicable coverage term subject to the separate plan specific terms and conditions.

The opportunity to purchase the Extended Protection Plan expires after the 30 day purchase window. The Extended Protection Plan may not be available in all markets; please check our official website or contact Vastnaut Customer Service for local availability.

Once the applicable warranty coverage period expires, warranty service requests will not qualify for free of charge remedy. Vastnaut may offer paid repair services at a reasonable cost to cover parts, labour and logistical expenses at its sole discretion.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

This Limited Commercial Warranty shall not apply to any of the following circumstances:

  1. Failure or physical damage that is not attributable to original manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
  2. Damage caused by unauthorised modification, alteration, or improper installation not following Vastnaut official user manual guidance.
  3. Damage from exposure to extreme environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, dust, liquid ingress) outside the operating environment specifications published in Vastnaut official documentation.
  4. Product serial number, identification label or security marking that has been altered, defaced, tampered with or removed.
  5. Where valid proof of purchase or verified product registration information cannot be produced for service validation.
  6. Warranty coverage period has expired.
  7. The product has been reported lost or stolen.
  8. Damage resulting from unauthorised disassembly, teardown, or installation of non official / unapproved firmware, software or system modifications.
  9. Ordinary wear and tear and cosmetic deterioration, including without limitation minor surface scratches, dents, coating discoloration, fading, and normal ageing of harness, padding or consumable components, where not caused by manufacturing defect.
  10. Damage arising from improper storage, accident, abuse, misuse, or use of non Vastnaut genuine incompatible parts or accessories connected to the product.

If any of the above listed exclusion circumstances apply, Vastnaut may decline free of charge warranty remedy for the affected product.

How To Submit a Warranty Claim

You may initiate a warranty service request by contacting Vastnaut Customer Service. You will need to submit valid proof of purchase or verified product registration information for eligibility verification. Vastnaut will acknowledge your warranty submission within 1 2 business days.

For units purchased from an authorised local distributor, please first contact your distributor for local support handling for non manufacturing defect related issues.

You must follow all service handling, packaging and return shipping instructions provided by Vastnaut Customer Service when sending in your product for warranty assessment or repair. You are responsible for safely packing the unit for transit; damage caused by inadequate customer packaging during return shipment is not covered by this warranty.

Statutory Law Priority

This Limited Commercial Warranty sets out voluntary commercial commitments offered by Vastnaut. Nothing within this warranty policy shall restrict, exclude or supersede any non-waivable statutory consumer protection rights, legal guarantees or remedies that you are entitled to under mandatory local laws of your country or region.

If any provision within this commercial warranty conflicts with such mandatory statutory law requirements, the mandatory local law shall prevail to the extent of such conflict.

Applicable Law Note

This warranty policy is intended to operate alongside the consumer protection laws applicable to your country or habitual residence, based on the delivery address provided within your order, to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory consumer contract rules.

Policy Update

Vastnaut reserves the right to revise, amend or update this Limited Commercial Warranty Policy from time to time. Updated terms will take effect upon publication on Vastnaut official website. For your warranty claim, the version of policy published at the time of your product purchase shall govern, unless local mandatory law requires otherwise.
